Connis B Selman

Mrs. Connis B. Selman, age 93, of Rome, GA passed away on Sunday evening, January 21, 2018.

Mrs. Selman was born in Carrollton, GA, on December 31, 1924, daughter of the late John Thomas Braswell and Willie Mae Horsley Braswell. She had been a resident of Rome and Floyd County for the greater part of her life and was of the Baptist faith. Prior to retirement, Mrs. Selman was associated with Klopman Mills in Shannon for a number of years. She loved to cook and attend to her garden. Mrs. Selman was married on January 18, 1947, to Guyton D. "Guy" Selman, and he preceded her in death on August 7, 2013. Also preceding her in death were two sons, Rudy Selman and Guyton "Pete" Selman.

Mrs. Selman is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Randel Greg and Elaine Selman, and Byron Selman; four grandchildren, Tonia Mohler, Rudy Anthony Selman, Jacob Selman and Joanna Selman; two sisters, Myrtle Jacks and Linda Childers.

Mrs. Selmans family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon, January 28, 2018, at Salmon Funeral Home from 2:00 until 3:30 p.m. Burial will follow in the East View Cemetery.
