Clara Mccoy

Clara Baker "Jackie" McCoy, age 80, of Rome passed away Thursday, May 28, 2015 at a local care facility.

She was born March 7, 1935 in Cave Spring, GA, the daughter of the late John Daniel Baker and Evie Ashmore Baker.

Jackie was preceded in death by her husband, D.G. "Tex" McCoy and her sister, Faye Baker McDonald. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Rome.

Survivors include her children, Donna (Hugh) Burnes of Rome, Patrick McCoy of Rome and Christopher (Maria) McCoy of Seattle, Wash.; in addition to her brother, Charles Baker of Rome and sister, Geneva Baker Dempsey of Rome and recently Charlotte, N.C.; also three grandchildren; six great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 10:30 pm at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens of Rome.
