Christopher Wayne Holden

 Mr. Christopher Wayne Holden, age 62, of Rome, GA passed away on March 31, 2025, peacefully at his home.

Chris was born on July 11, 1962 in Rome, GA to his parents: Everett "Shorty" and Peggy Holden. A cherished member of his community and a dedicated professional, Christopher spent many years making a living as a tree surgeon for Sherman's Tree Service, where he utilized his skill and passion for the natural world. In addition to his career, he proudly served his country in the United States Army, demonstrating his commitment to duty and service that would remain a core part of his character throughout his life. Christopher will be remembered not only for his contributions to his profession and his country but also for the warmth he brought to his family and friends. His spirit will forever be honored by those who knew and loved him.

Christopher is survived by his beloved fiancé, Tina Drescher, who stood by his side with unwavering love and support. He is also survived by his mother, Peggy Holden, and siblings Thomas Holden and Linda Holden and daughter, Anna Marie Boydston.

He was preceded in death by his father, Everett "Shorty" Holden.

In keeping with his wishes, Mr. Holden will be cremated and no formal services are being planned at this time.
