Charles Jeffery Terry

Charles Jeffrey "Jeff" Terry, age 43 of #502 Turkey Mountain Road, Armuchee, GA. passed away on Tuesday, October 19th, 2010 in Calhoun Georgia following an apparent heart attack.

A native of Floyd County, Jeff was born on June 14th, 1967 the son of Charles Horace Terry, Jr. and Sara Ann Dunaway Terry. He had spent his entire life in Floyd County and attended Armuchee High School. Jeff was a member of Grace Community Church at Resaca, GA. and at the time of his death was associated with Shaw Industries in Calhoun. Mr. Terry was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Horace Terry, III.

Survivors include his mother, Sara Ann Terry of Armuchee, his father and step-mother, Charles and Cheryl Terry of Cartersville, GA.; 1 brother, Brad Terry of Armuchee; 1 step-sister, Cathy Tucker of Cartersville; 2 step-brothers, Jerome and Matt Waller; his best friend, Jim Owen Dell. Aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive.

A celebration of the life of Charles Jeffrey "Jeff" Terry will be held on Saturday afternoon, October 23rd, 2010 at 2 o'clock from the Parkview Chapel of Fred Talley's Funeral Home with Pastor David Peeler officiating. Interment will follow in the family lot of the Armuchee Baptist Church Cemetery on Big Texas Valley Road.

Jeff will remain at Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel where the family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6 until 9 o'clock. At other hours the family will be at the home of his mother, Sara Ann Terry at #849 Turner Road, Armuchee.

The following will serve as active pallbearers, Ronnie Reece, Jason Brown, Jim Dell
Alan Ponder, Greg Montgomery, Wayne, Dewey and Walton Dunaway.
