Celia Alice Klardie

Celia Durden Klardie, age 39, of Dunwoody, Georgia, and a former Roman passed away at her residence in Dunwoody.

A native of Floyd County, Georgia, Celia was born on June 8, 1973, the daughter of Hugh B. and Mabel Bass Durden. Celia was a 1991 graduate of East Rome High School and attended Southern Poly Technical School. Celia attended Mizpah United Methodist Church and was a Civil Engineer Specialist in Storm Water Management. Celia was extremely successful and was a respected Civil Engineer for the Cities of Sandy Springs and Canton, Georgia. Celia was a loyal representative of the URS Corporation.

Survivors include her son, Connor Durden Klardie; her parents, Hugh and Mabel Durden of Rome; a brother and his wife, John and Crystal and their daughters, Coppi and Perry.

Funeral services for Celia will be held on Sunday afternoon, April 21, 2013, at 3 o'clock at Mizpah United Methodist Church with Reverend Brad Prater officiating. Interment will follow in the Mizpah United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Mizpah United Methodist Church on Sunday afternoon, April 21, 2013, from 1 until 3 o'clock. At other hours the family will be at the home of her parents and at the home of her brother and his wife.

The following will serve as active pallbearers, Neil, Noel and Jeff Dent, Ronnie Kestner, Matt Stahl, Andrew and Joel King and Tom Harvey.
