Cassie Pack Miller

Cassie Pack Miller, age 88, of Rome, GA, passed away on Friday, January 19, 2018.

Cassie was born in Shannon, GA, on October 6, 1929, daughter of the late Daniel David Turner and Rosie Bell Cowan Turner. She had lived most of her life in Rome and Floyd County. Cassie was associated with Riverwood Retirement Center in Rome for a number of years where she had served as the lead dietician. She was a member of the West Rome Church of God. Cassie loved to travel, tell stories and cook, but mostly enjoyed spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, Truman Clyde Miller.

Cassie is survived by a daughter, Deborah Sharp, of Tybee Island, GA; son, Thomas Pack of Rome. A number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends also survive.

Cassies wish was to be cremated. No memorial service is planned at this time.
