Carol T. Griffin

Mrs. Carol Trammell Griffin, age 69, passed peacefully in her sleep on September 8, 2017. She resided in Rome, GA throughout the entirety of her life which began June 5, 1948. The daughter of the late George Clinton Trammell Jr. and the late Elizabeth Ross Trammell. She is preceded in death by her two sisters, Ellen Mathis and Connie Nelson, and her brother George Clinton 'Pat' Trammell III. She is survived by her husband Charles E. Griffin Sr., her three children, Charles 'Charlie' Griffin Jr., Casey Griffin Kelly, and Autumn Griffin Ashworth; her eight grandchildren, Chrysan Griffin, Taylor Smith, Brittany Brierley, Dylan Kelly, Danielle Kelly, Rhiannon McClanahan, Bleu Swanson, and Trace McClanahan; and her four great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends, Saturday, September, 16, 2017, from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM, at Second Avenue United Methodist Church, with a Celebration of Life to follow at 2:00 PM.
