Camilla Wright

Mrs. Camilla Brunson Wright, age 87, a 30 year resident of Rome, died Sunday, April 18th, 2010 in Carrollton, Georgia.

Mrs. Wright was born on April 1st, 1923 in Summerton, S.C. and later moved to Dalton, GA. and was the daughter of the late Lawrence A. and Selena Whilden Brunson. She was of the Methodist Faith and for a period of time was associated with Kessler's of Rome. She loved her gardens and crafts and was an expert needlepoint artist, but her greatest love was for her family and friends. Everyone who knew Camilla Wright described her as sweet, cheerful and caring; someone who never knew a stranger because they quickly became friends. She will be greatly missed. Mrs. Wright was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Wilbur K. Wright who preceded her in death on July 26th, 1999.

Mrs. Wright is survived by her 2 sons, James Stark of Jacksonville, FL. and Ronald Stark and his wife, Karen of Smyrna, GA.; 5 grandchildren, Christopher Stark of Trussville, Ala., Rhonda Chandler and Derek Stark of Helena, Ala., Benjamin Stark of Atlanta and Adam Stark of Smyrna, GA.; 8 great-grandchildren also survive as do a sister, Mary Hiles of Rome; a brother, Jack Brunson of Marietta, GA.

Funeral services for Mrs. Camilla Brunson Wright will be held on Wednesday afternoon, April, 21st, 2010 at 2:30 from the graveside of Sunset Hill Memorial Garden with interment to follow in Sunset Hill Memorial Garden.

Grandsons will serve as active pallbearers.

Mrs. Wright will remain at Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel where the family will receive friends on Wednesday afternoon from 1 until 2 o'clock.
