Bobby Joe Holder

Bobby Joe Holder, age 51, #587 Warren Road, NE, Rome, died Monday morning, July 9th, 2007, at his residence following a brief illness.
Mr. Holder was born in Floyd County, Georgia on October 15th, 1955, the don of the late Doris June Smith Holder and the late Jack Duvall Holder. Mr. Holder spent his entire life in Rome, attended Armuchee High School and worked for various employers during his lifetime. He loved hot rods, motorcycles, his family and friends. In addition to his parents, Mr. Holder was preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy H. Holder in September 1993 and his daughter, Melinda Faye Holder in June 2006.
Survivors include his brother and sister-in-law, Hoyt and Melinda Holder of Rome; his nephew, Darrell Holder of Lovejoy, Ga. Numerous relatives, friends and a special companion, Dodie Johnson also survive.
Graveside and interment services will be held on Wednesday morning, July 11th, 2007, at 11 o'clock at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Edward E. Holsomback officiating with interment to follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.
