Bobby Charles Hall

Mr. Bobby Charles Hall, age 80, of Armuchee, GA, passed away on Tuesday evening, September 12, 2017.
Bobby was born in Gainesville, FL, on February 20, 1937, the son of the late Chester Ermey Hall and Ellie Opal Bailey Hall. He had been a resident of the Rome and Floyd County area for most of his life and was a graduate of Rome Boys High School. Bobby was a veteran of the United States Navy, having served during the Korean War, and was a member of the American Legion. He was a truck driver for many years, last driving for East West Transportation. Bobby had traveled across the United States many times but really enjoyed being with his family. He loved fishing and country music. In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by a daughter, Delia Ann Allen, a grandchild, Rick Harley Bryant, and a great-grandchild, Audrey Leann Littlejohn.
Bobby is survived by a daughter, Deanna Carnahan and her partner, Haskell Dodson, of Armuchee; a son and daughter-in-law, Bobby Ray and Stacey Hall of Lindale, GA; grandchildren, Jennifer Callaway, Timmy Hall, Kathy Morrow, Michelle Carnahan, Mellissa Horelica, Lisa Marie Dockery, James Allen Hamby, Terry Gene Hamby, Diana Rene Young, Dewayne Edward Young, Jr., Ashley Winters, Zack Brunson, Steve Rowell and Anna Marie Tant. Twenty-two grandchildren along with other friends and relatives also survive.
Funeral services for Bobby Charles Hall will be held on Friday afternoon, September 14, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. in the Carl Sidwell Chapel of Salmon Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the East View Cemetery with the Shanklin-Attaway Post 5 of the American Legion Honor Guard conferring graveside military rites.
Bobby will remain at the Salmon Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.
