Bj Lee Caldwell

BJ Caldwell, age 23, of #112 Malone Drive, Garden Lakes, Rome died early Tuesday morning, April 27th, 2010 at the residence.

A native of Floyd County, Georgia, BJ was born on May 7th, 1986. BJ attended Coosa Elementary school, Coosa Middle school, was a 2004 graduate of Hobbs High School in Hobbs, New Mexico and attended Coosa Valley Tech. BJ resided in Hobbs, New Mexico from 1995 until 2004 at which time he returned to Rome. BJ was a member of Vista Pointe Baptist Church in Hobbs, New Mexico and at the time of his death was associated with Home Depot of Rome. BJ was preceded in death by a grandfather, Harold E. Wilson in 1992 and by a special aunt, Imogene "Nanny" Hardin in 2007.

Survivors include his wife, Megan Casey Caldwell to whom he was married on June 7th, 2008; 1 son, Christopher Thomas Caldwell; his parents, Tim and Sheree Anderson of Hobbs, New Mexico; 1 brother and sister-in-law, Brandon and Emily Holcomb of Hobbs, NM; grandparents, Geneva and Harry Yarbrough of Armuchee, Jeannie and Leon Anderson of Hobbs, NM and Linda and Larry Fricks of Rome. A special niece and nephew, Payton and MacKenzie Holcomb of Hobbs, NM. Other survivors include Tommy Hardin, Ginger Rickard and Norma Prater. Aunts and uncles also survive.

Funeral services for BJ Caldwell will be held on Saturday afternoon, May 1st, 2010 at 2 o'clock from the Parkview Chapel of Fred Talley's Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Barnett officiating with interment to follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.

The following will serve as active and honorary pallbearers, Tim Anderson, Brandon Holcomb, Justin Trotter, Rueben Graham, Adrian Langham, Blake Durden, Ryan Diprima, Wesley Lovell, Zack Kerby, Justin Weaver, Marcus Garcia, Sheree Anderson and Lee Haines.

BJ will remain at Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel where the family will begin receiving friends this (Friday) evening beginning at 6 o'clock. At other hours they will be at the residence.

A trust fund has been established for Christopher Thomas Caldwell the son of BJ and Megan Caldwell. Please contact the family in regards to gifts and contributions.
