Mrs. Beatrice Louise Twilley Kerr went home to be with the Lord on May 31, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Beatrice was born on November 8, 1936 to the late J.A. & Minnie Belle Twilley in Webster County GA. She was the youngest of thirteen children, whom have all preceded her in death, Howard Twilley, Ted Twilley, Christine Gill, Blanch Pittman, Ruby McCord, Lois Deese, Jean Rogers, Betty Rogers, and Mary Gibson, also a daughter Gail Kerr Whorton.
Mrs. Beatrice worked for Champion Garment for thirty years before retiring. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Mr. R.W. Kerr to whom she married on December 20, 1952, a daughter, Kathy Goodwill (John), a son Ricky Kerr. 8 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren. A special daughter in love Doris Trapp and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service to honor Mrs. Beatrice Louise Twilley Kerr will take place Saturday June 3, 2023, at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Salmon Funeral Home with Reverend Barry Rogers, Jr. The interment will follow the funeral service at Providence Cemetery Forney Alabama with the following gentleman serving as pallbearers: Timothy “TJ” Bailey, Joey Bond, Jerry Kerr, Barry Rogers, Daniel Johnson, Bob Whorton and Jonathan Johnson. The family will receive friends Friday June 2, 2023 from 6:00 pm till 8:00 pm at Salmon Funeral Home.
