Barbara Hart

Mrs. Barbara Tyson Hart, age 76 of #37 Pear Street, Rome died Wednesday evening at Winthrop Manor of Rome.
Mrs. Hart was born in Rome, Georgia on December 17th, 1932, the daughter of the late J. Clifford Tyson and the late Kathryn McCurdy Tyson. She had spent the greater part of her life in Rome and prior to retirement, Mrs. Hart was co-owner along with her late husband, Jack, of Jack Hart-Tyson Agency. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Art was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Perry Hart on August 15th, 1991.
Survivors include 1 child, Karen Hart Johnson and her husband, Harry Johnson, III of Rome; a grandson, Harry Johnson IV of Los Angeles, Calif.; a sister, Annette Tyson Barnum (Herbert Barnum) of Rome; nephews, William Steven Hart of Atlanta and Thomas Weyman Betts of Rome. Several other nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara Tyson Hart will be held on Sunday afternoon, April 26th, 2009 at 3 o'clock at Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel with the Rev. Warren Jones with interment to follow in East View Cemetery.
The following will serve as pallbearers, Steve Hart, Jason Lewis, Thomas Betts, Robert "Bob" Puckett, Clyde Collier, Darrell Lowery, Mark and Lee Roberts.
Mrs. Hart will remain at Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel where the family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 1:30 until 3 o'clock. Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel funeral Home has charge of the funeral arrangements for Mrs. Barbara Tyson Hart.
