Aubrey Alvin Wilson

Aubrey Alvin Wilson, age 78, of Rome, died Saturday morning, January 16th, 2010 at a local hospital.
Mr. Wilson was born on November 3rd, 1931, the son of the late Walter E. and Lana Mae Bentley Wilson. For the past 15 years he has been a resident of Rome moving here from Texas and a member of the First Baptist Church in Brackettville, TX. and attended the First Baptist Church of Rome. For 10 years Mr. Wilson was associated with State Mutual Insurance Company as Business Controller. Mr. Wilson was married to Delores Jean Felton Wilson on August 18th, 1950 who preceded him in death on May 7th, 2007.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Hal Ruland of Rome; 2 sons and a daughter-in-law, Alvin and Kathy Wilson of Woodland, TX. and Randy Wilson of Dallas, TX.5 grandchildren, Sydnie and John Thomas Horton of New Orleans, LA., Audrey Beth Ruland if Columbus, GA., Tony Wilson of Huntsville, TX., Kristy Wilson of Ft. Worth, TX and Lauren Wilson of Carrollton, TX.; 2 brothers, Junior Lynn Wilson of Oklahoma City, Okla. and Don Wilson of San Antonio, TX. Nieces and nephews also survive.
A memorial service for Aubrey Alvin Wilson will be held on Tuesday morning, January 19th, 2010 at 11 o'clock at the Chapel of First Baptist Church of Rome with Dr. Joel Snider officiating.
