Andrew McCall Rolan

Mr. Andrew McCall Rolan, age 27, of Rome, GA passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2025. 

He was born on October 13, 1997, in Rome, GA to his parents: Tim and Leigh Rolan. He attended Model High School. Andrew always made others feel welcomed, demonstrating kindness and politeness in every interaction, he was known for his caring and sweet personality. Andrew had a deep love for sports, particularly tennis. He was an avid athlete and a proud member of the United States Tennis Association, showcasing his skills in numerous tournaments over the years. His passion for sports extended beyond tennis, he enjoyed sports of all kinds. In addition to his love for sports, Andrew was a devoted outdoorsman. He found joy in fishing, hunting, and spending time in the woods, appreciating the beauty of nature and the serenity it offered. He also enjoyed listening to music. He was a member of Dykes Creek Baptist Church. Andrew was a loving son, brother, uncle, grandson, cousin and friend to many who will be deeply missed. 

 He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Benjamin and Carol Graves and his grandmother, Gayle Salmon.

 Andrew is survived by his loving parents: Tim and Leigh Rolan of Rome, GA; sister, Ansley Rolan of Rome, GA; grandparents: Earl (Mary) Rolan of Rome, GA; aunts: Tina (Brent Hubbard) Rolan of Rome, GA, Rebecca Robinson of Rome, GA; uncle, Blake (Bennett) Rolan of Madison, WI; cousins: Caitlyn (Joseph) Varner, Houston, Liza Reed, Walker and Weston Rolan. Many additional family members and special friends survive. 

 A gathering for friends and family to celebrate the life of Andrew will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025 from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Salmon Funeral Home.
