Andrea Lynn Morris

Andrea Carroll Morris, age 35, of #2206 Turkey Mountain Road, Rome, died Friday morning, October 2nd, 2009 at the residence.
A native of Floyd County, Mrs. Morris was born on November 10th, 1973, the daughter of Gerald L. and Linda Teague Carroll. She was a 1992 graduate of Model High School and attended Jacksonville State College. Mrs. Morris was a member of the West Rome United Methodist Church, where she was a member of Abundant Life Sunday School Class. Mrs. Morris was associated with AT&T as a service representative and was a member of the AT&T Pioneers. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Hoyt Carroll, Charlie and Dellie Teague and by a nephew, Allen Lawrence.
Survivors include her husband, Christopher (Chris) Morris to whom she was married on November 15th, 1997; a daughter, Shelby Morris and a son, Connor Morris; her parents, Gerald and Linda Carroll of Rome; Father and mother-in-law, Eugene and Barbara Morris of Panama City Beach, Florida; 1 brother, Andy (Felicia) Carroll of Rome. 2 nieces, Courtney (Danny) Parker of Cartersville and Brittany Carroll of Rome a grandmother, Bernice Carroll of Rome also survive.
Funeral services for Andrea Carroll Morris will be held this (Sunday) afternoon, October 4th, 2009 at 4 o'clock at the West Rome United Methodist Church with Rev. Les Connell officiating with interment to follow in Wax Cemetery.
Mrs. Morris will lie-in-state at the West Rome United Methodist Church today (Sunday) from 2 until 4 o'clock where the family will receive friends. At other hours they will be at the residence.
The following will serve as active pallbearers, Kyle and Keith Woodfin, Eddie Elsberry, Wayne Wood, Jr. David Terrell and Eddie Rivers. Honorary pallbearers include former and current employees of AT&T and Bell South.
