Alyssa Christine Miller

Alyssa Christine Miller, age 28, of Rome, GA passed away on April 11, 2025, in Rome, Georgia, after a brave fight with cancer.

Alyssa was born on March 10, 1997, in Riverdale, Georgia. She was known and will be remembered for her warm demeanor and ability to connect with others. Alyssa worked at the Lowes Distribution Center, where she was a Team Lead, showcasing her leadership skills and dedication to her career.

Alyssa thrived in environments that allowed her to engage with others, truly embodying her personality as a people person. Her love for plants and gardening reflected her nurturing spirit, and she often found joy in fishing with her family, embracing their shared moments in nature. Alyssa was a devoted partner, daughter, sister and friend, cherished by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She is survived by her father, Jerry Miller and his wife, Dawn, of Woodstock, Georgia; her mother, Claudia Jaquez of Morrow, Georgia; her significant other, Brittany Shankles of Rome, Georgia; brother, Samuel Miller of Rome, Georgia;a sister, Felicia Longmore, along with her husband Arl, of Adairsville, Georgia; She was a devoted animal lover, and cherished her role as a caring mother to both dogs and cats.Alyssa passed surrounded by her loving family, leaving a legacy of love, light, and cherished memories. Her presence will undoubtedly be missed by all who knew her.

In keeping with her wishes, Alyssa will be cremated, and a celebration of her life will be planned in the future.
